Wintech Hotwire machines are ideal for sheeting, slabbing, or profile cutting (EPS) expanded and (XPS) extruded polystyrene foam. The Hotwire machine electrically charges the cutting wire to vaporize the material and produce a superior surface finish. Because there is no physical contact between the wire and the material, the cut surface is left clean and dust-free. This reduces material handling time and results in a cleaner work environment. The user-friendly Profiler software automates all cutting activities and brings additional efficiencies to our customer's businesses.

Our Hotwire Machines Allow Multiple Cuts at Once
Our Wintech Hotwire foam contouring machines can accommodate up to 40 wires with no compromise in cutting speed. Because the cuts are made without physical contact the machine can make multiple cuts in one pass without compromising speed. This increases productivity and decreases labour costs.
Dust-Free Cutting
The non-abrasive nature of our Hotwire CNC cutting process means they do not create dust as they cut. As a result this provides a cleaner, safer workplace and also provides a dust-free surface on the finished product.

KEY FEATURES
Fully Automated Cutting
Wintech machines are fully automated CNC cutters. This means that they are computer-driven to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of every contour cut. It also means Wintech machines do not have the operational dangers, manual errors, or slow turnovers of other manual cutters. The operator simply opens the cutting drawings on the computer and sets the machine to start cutting.
One person can easily load and operate the machine. Wintech machines can also run a queue of subsequent jobs automatically. Many owners leave their machines running after working hours allowing the machines to shut themselves off when the job queue is complete.
Flexible Floorplans and Operation
Wintech machines are operated via the control cabinet. This is a small freestanding unit that houses the computer to design and store all the drawings. It also provides an intuitive interface to control every aspect of the machine. The operator runs the machine through its software, using the touch screen, keyboard, or mouse. This allows the operator to keep a safe distance from the machine and be positioned in a convenient location in the factory.
The control cabinet also comes with a sealed, fully functional 18-key handset to allow for remote control. There are no cables to the remote. This gives the operator even more physical freedom. Quick positioning or manual cutting is possible with this remote handset.
Powerful User-Friendly Software
Wintech machines use a Windows operating system that is familiar and reliable. Our proprietary Profiler software is intuitive and easy to use. A rich graphical environment makes the machine simple to use and packed with powerful features. The inbuilt reporting tools assists with design, scheduling, delivering increased productivity, and maximising material yield.
The Profiler software is pre-loaded with a wide selection of standard cuts (geometric shapes, letters, numerals, etc), with customizable presets. It also has powerful importing capabilities from other digital drawing software and a sophisticated native drawing interface. For new CNC users, we offer an optional digitizer device to trace paper drawings or cardboard templates to then convert into cutting drawings.
